Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bre Hunt ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the digital Fuck It Theory app (the "App"). It sits next to our Terms of Service. Last updated August 18, 2026.

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Account information, such as your email address and authentication details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• Sitting content: the question or thoughts you share with Angel, the card you pulled, Angel's reading, follow-up messages, and any note you save.
• Usage information: how many readings you have used in a billing period, timestamps, and which AI provider and model produced a sitting.
• Technical information typical of a website, such as device type, browser, and approximate location derived from IP address, used to run and secure the App.

If you use Speak-it, your browser may turn your voice into text on your device or through your browser's speech service. We receive the resulting text so Angel can sit with it. We do not intend to store a raw audio recording of your voice.

We use this information to:

• create and secure your account
• run the shuffle, pull, and history
• generate Angel readings and follow-ups with artificial intelligence
• enforce membership limits and, when billing is live, process membership
• respond to you, fix problems, and keep the App safe

We do not sell your personal information.

Bre Hunt created Fuck It Cards. Angel is the companion voice in the App, inspired by Bre's Australian Shepherd. She delivers the nudge; your answers stay yours.

Angel is an AI companion, not a person on the other side of the screen. When you talk with her, the words you type or speak, the card you pulled, and related sitting context are sent to an AI language model provider so a reading can be generated.

When the live Angel path is on, that provider is Anthropic. We may change providers if we need to, and this policy will still apply: we send sitting content so the App can function, not so we can sell a profile of you. Model providers process that content under their own terms and may have different retention rules than we do.

Do not share information in a sitting that you would not want an AI system to process. The App is for entertainment and personal reflection. It is not a confidential therapy session.

We use companies that process information on our behalf to operate the App, including:

• Clerk, for accounts and sign-in
• Supabase, for storing pulls, messages, and usage
• Anthropic, for AI-generated readings when that path is live
• Our hosting provider, to serve the website
• Payment processors, when membership checkout is turned on

The physical deck shop at fuckitcarddeck.com is a separate site with its own practices.

We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to run the App. Clerk manages authentication cookies. You can control cookies in your browser. If you block them, you may not be able to stay signed in.

We share information when you ask us to (for example, creating an account), when a vendor must process it to provide the App, when the law requires it, or when we need to protect the App, our users, or ourselves. We do not sell sitting content. We do not use your readings to train a public marketing model of you.

We keep account and sitting history while your account is open so you can return to a pull. If you want your account and stored sittings deleted, email fckitoraclecards@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will delete or de-identify what we control, except records we must keep for law, security, or accounting. Copies already processed by an AI provider may follow that provider's retention schedule.

The App is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child created an account, email us and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our vendors operate. Those places may have different privacy laws than your home.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top will change when we do. If a change is material, we will try to give notice in the App or by email.
